Dayspring is a public charter school located in Pasco County, FL and is run by a private Board of Directors.
Dayspring employees are not employees of the Pasco County School District.
After the interview process has been completed and it is established that you meet the requirements
of the open position, you will need to complete the application process as follows:
1. You will be asked to schedule an appointment with our Human Resources department to pick up
an application packet. Our HR department is located at our Administration Building:
9732 Little Rd, New Port Richey
2. All Instructional and Non-instructional employees must be fingerprinted and cleared by the
District School Board of Pasco County, per Florida statute 1012.465 and 1012.56.
The applicant is responsible for this expense, which is currently $63. Information about this
process will be provided to you when you meet with our Human Resources department.
3. Return your completed application packet after you have been fingerprinted.
4. Once we are notified that you have cleared the fingerprinting/background screening process,
we can complete the hiring process.
All employees are placed in a 90-day probation period. All new teachers are placed with a mentor
to be monitored and given feedback during the first year of employment.
